MARK ELLIOTT
Mark is an experienced leader with over 40 years of Navy and commercial nuclear power experience. Commercial areas of experience and expertise include leadership and management of quality assurance programs and their implementation, performance improvement, corrective action, nuclear safety culture, root cause analysis and project management. Mark retired from GE Hitachi in January 2024 as the Services Quality Leader, responsible for quality assurance and control of reactor services and parts delivered to both U.S. and international nuclear utilities. Additional duties under this position included serving as the Quality Manager for a test reactor facility, and a nuclear spent fuel storage facility. Mark is familiar with U.S. nuclear regulations and several international regulations and standards.
Mark’s certifications include Senior Reactor Operator Instructor, Taproot, MORT and GE Root Cause Analyst, Six Sigma Blackbelt, Nuclear Lead Auditor, and completion of the GE Advanced Managers Course. Mark served for eight years in the U.S. Navy, including service on Submarine NR-1 with qualifications as Engineering Officer of the Watch and Engineering Duty Officer.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Excelsior University, and an MBA from Regis University.
